Tax filing time for year 2015 is right around the corner. Below is guidance on being a client with Eddy Company for this year.
- If you were a client of the firm for tax year 2014 or previous years, you will be sent an invitation for your own Dropbox file. Dropbox offers extremely high encryption, and a convenient means to share files for the 2015 tax year. Through Dropbox, scanned and uploaded documents can be shared with me easily. Your tax form providers should be able to provide electronic versions of all tax forms.
- If you choose not to use Dropbox, I will be in contact with you to set up a time to get your material needed to complete your 2015 tax return or send you a stamped envelope to deliver it to my office. For further guidance, please see our checklist here.
- To become a tax client for this upcoming season, you are required to sign an engagement letter. This outlines the scope of our relationship and other relevant details regarding your 2015 year tax preparation and filing.
- Your loyalty is valued! You will receive a 25% discount on the cost of your tax preparation and filing for every referral that signs up as a client due to you spreading the good word.
